URGENT 19 July 2022
CHANGE OF VENUE
On Tuesday, as it is Andrew's birthday, we are going to the il Funghetto, a noisy fun italian restaurant. Cost per person from £7 upwards for a main course or Pam and I have three courses and a large half carafe of excellent house red for under £50 for both of us.
I need to know by noon on Saturday 16th July as the restaurant can fill up every day of the week with large parties.
7:30pm start.
We will meet on Tuesday evenings

The reason we meet earlier in the week is to ensure we have room for a large group.
On Tuesday 14th June at 8pm to 10pm we meet at "The Old White Lion" by East Finchley Station. Mike, their manager, has said he'll make room for our group. Depending on the success on the 14th, we'll have meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. There are no TV screens and as they've just been refurbished, I gather there are no plans to install them.
SUGGESTION, if you like the idea of evening meetings, try and come on the first session on the 14th June to ensure we continue.
When you come into the pub, we will be in the area on the left.
Look out for me
I will be in the designated place, as described, in the pub. If I can't make it, there'll be a designated Andrew there.

A Disaster!
The venue we chose for our first evening session was a disaster. The pub had been closed for 'refurbishment' and I had no idea that this was only to install two huge sports TV screens in every bar, and Arsenal were playing that night. Now looking for pub venues without screens. There was even a screen in the bleddy garden! But we are meeting there for our morning coffee mornings. And it's quiet, and coffee under £2 even latte!

How to get there.
From East Finchley underground station.
Come out of the main underground station exit and turn right and walk under the bridges. The pub is immediately on your right after the bridges. Opposite the bus shelter.
